My name is Zinzi. I was born on April 4, 1985. I was named after Nelson Mandela’s daughter.
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, graduated from Brown University with a degree in Critical Theory and Literary Arts.
I moved to New York shortly after graduation in 2007, and settled in Central Brooklyn. I work in book publishing in Manhattan, editing cookbooks and other visual books.
In its former incarnation, this was a group blog shared with my ex-boyfriend. When our relationship fell apart, I reclaimed it in an awesome bitch move, refashioning it into the dull thing you are reading now.
Here is a picture of me eating a mini-souffle. I am not normally that angry, I think maybe someone was trying to steal it.
